The loss of productive interactions upon G37A mutation drives the AdoMet ligand away from the 37th nucleotide, and Arg145 in DOT3 plays a crucial role in stabilising the ligand, as well as the G37 nucleotide, in the wild-type complex. Further, the overall energetic contribution calculated using MMPBSA corroborates that the wild-type complex has a better affinity between Trm5 and tRNA. Overall, our study reveals that targeting DOT regions for binding could improve the inhibition of Trm5.To reveal the influence mechanism of ettringite (AFt) crystals and microstructure characteristics on the strength of calcium-based stabilized soil, the strengths and microscopic properties of seven groups of stabilized soil samples were studied systematically through unconfined compressive strength, scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry (TG), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) testing methods. The results indicate that the strength of the cement-stabilized soil is relatively high because abundant calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) gels coat the outer surface of soil particles to cement together. For the cement-gypsum-stabilized soil, superabundant thick and long AFt crystals make the pores in soil particles larger, and the sample becomes looser, resulting in lower strength than that of the cement-stabilized soil. However, the strength of the cement-gypsum-lime-stabilized soil is slightly stronger than that of the cement-stabilized soil, for the reason that the appropriate amount of fine AFt crystals fill the macropores between soil particles to form a network space structure and sufficient CSH gels cement the soil particles and the AFt crystals network space structure tightly together. Given that the N-acetyl-d-glucosamine-binding lectin ActL attracts Symbiodiniaceae cells, we hypothesized that corals must attract Symbiodiniaceae cells using ActL to acquire them. Anti-ActL antibody inhibited acquisition of Symbiodiniaceae cells, and rearing seawater for juvenile Acropora tenuis contained ActL, suggesting that juvenile A. tenuis discharge ActL to attract these cells. Furthermore, the influence of the surfactant used to stabilize the polymer particles, the surface functionality of the polymer particles and the use of a bimodal particle size distribution on the final fiber morphology is studied for the first time. In green electrospinning, the viscosity of the initial complex blend depends on the amount and molar mass of the template polymer but also on the total solids content of the dispersion to be spun. Thus, both parameters must be carefully taken into account in order to fine-tune the final fiber morphology. Seroprevalence data of ToRCH infections are important, especially in countries with weak disease surveillance systems, to estimate immunity and vaccination levels, as well as exposure rates and thus the risk of infection during pregnancy. A systematic literature search spanning a 30-year time period was conducted to identify serosurveys on ToRCH pathogens in Southeast Asia. The 96 identified studies showed that some pathogens were well studied, while only limited data were available for others. Studies from the better-developed countries of the region were more abundant. Moreover, seroprevalence data were often limited to a certain geographical region within the country or to certain cohorts, there was an evident lack of recent serosurveys, and the study quality was often not adequate. Well-designed and area-wide serosurveys of ToRCH pathogens are clearly warranted.
